Oman United offers three types of cargo insurance :

• Open Cover Cargo Insurance: This policy covers any type of import or export goods by the insured’s from any where in the world (Subject to Sanctions Clause) to Sultanate of Oman and Vice versa through: Land, Sea, Air and Post Parcel.
• Individual Cover or Specific Cargo: In this policy you can Cover single shipments of imports or export goods from any where in the world (Subject to Sanctions Clause) to Sultanate of Oman and Vice versa by one of the transportations Land, Sea, Air and Post Parcel within specific period.
• Inland Transit: This policy broadly covers the risk of physical loss or damage to the goods (machinery, raw materials, finished goods etc.) during transit within the Sultanate of Oman.

Key Exclusions

Following exclusions apply for all the above Cargo Insurance policies:

• Radioactive Contamination.
• Chemical, Biological, Bio-Chemical, Electromagnetic Weapons.
• Cyber Attack.
• IT Clarification agreement.
• Data Recognition.
• Termination of Transit Clause (Terrorism).
• Terrorism Clause (Cargo).
• Rejection Risks Absolutely.
• Contamination losses howsoever caused.
• Losses due to spontaneous combustion.

• Comprehensive Cover: Institute yacht clause’ to cover Any loss or damages to Hull and Machinery (All risk).
• Third Party Liability: Institute yacht clause’ to cover third Party Only.
• Total Loss: Institute yacht clause extended to cover total loss only and any accident to third party due to Total loss.
